Windows are your eyes to the outside and to ensure clear vision, the glass must be clean, without streaks or smudges. Targeting the window, screens and blinds together help to accentuate the beauty and the functionality of the windows in your home or office.
The residential window cleaning process starts by addressing the blinds, if any. On-SITE uses a dry dusting approach for cloth blinds by surface vacuuming, using a controlled suction, soft bristle head. Wood or vinyl blinds typically require a 2-step process; removal of layered dust followed by a cleaning agent.
The window itself is then cleaned inside and out using a non-alcohol based solution. All foreign material, including paint drops, adhesive, and natural dirt is removed using degreasers, scrapers or solvents prior to the washing process. The cleaning solution is then removed using a squeegee, stroking the window horizontally on the inside and vertically on the outside, as a means to determine where potential streaks might be.
The window detailing process is completed when screens are reinstalled and the blinds lowered. Based upon the physical condition of blinds, screens or windows, On-SITE will make recommendations as to repair and continued maintenance of your eyes to the outside.
